Upgrade Note!

Passwords are Case Sensitive in version 7 of PowerSchool. This is a security improvement. Parent and student accounts in particular have all caps in the passwords!!

On November 21-22, PowerSchool was upgraded to version 7 and moved to new servers. PowerTeacher Gradebook and the student/parent portal were also updated. PowerSchool users should notice a speed boost as the product has been extensively rewritten to require far less server traffic. The menus and pages remain the same as before but with a more modern look.

The full server array replacement should improve stability and performance. Version 2.3 Key features include:

• Student name display preferences
• Student sorting preferences throughout the gradebook
• Student preferred name display
• Extra customizable class columns to track additional student information
• Teacher personal note per student
• Notifications area: Added Students, Dropped Students, Birthdays, and Admin Sign In events
• Teacher email to parents and students
• Teacher personal comment bank
