21st Century Accreditation

Pioneer High School has been accredited under North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement [NCA CASI] for over 100+ years.  NCA CASI has long been recognized by colleges and universities, the military, loan programs, and scholarships.  Pioneer's participation and support for excellence in education is a statement to the quality and dedication of its staff. 

In April 2006, NCA CASI, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), and National Study of School Evaluation (NSSE) came together to form one strong unified organization dedicated to education quality. That unified organization, known as AdvancED , created the world's largest education community, representing over 23,000 public and private schools, 6,000 school districts, 18,000 volunteers in 30 states and 65 countries and serving nearly 15 million students.  [Unification Announcement]

In the 21st Century the global focus of being part of the NCA CASI / AdvancED accreditation truly places Pioneer High School at the threshold of being able to customize its school improvement process to Pioneer's needs.  Additional resources available to Pioneer include the support of NCA CASI staff, a vast data bank of research and best practices, along with professional development conferences or workshops.
