Mission Statement
The Ann Arbor Public School system believes that a quality comprehensive guidance and counseling program is an integral part of the total education program. The Ann Arbor Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program assures that all students will acquire and demonstrate competencies in the areas of knowledge of self and others, education planning, and career exploration and development. Mastery of the outcomes of the Ann Arbor Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling program will empower students to learn, to work and learn to live over a lifetime.
News
PSAT results were distributed to students January 6 and 7, 2011. Students who did not pick up their score reports may pick them up from the Career Center.
Students may visit My College QuickStart at http://www.collegeboard.com/quickstart and log in with their access code (found inside your score report) to: Search for colleges; Explore Majors and Careers; See correct answers and explanations; Get a a personalized SAT Study Plan; Learn about scholarship programs; or Take a Personality Test presenting options for career pathways that might be a great fit for them.
2011-2012 Course Selection
Students must complete the appropriate course selection worksheet and then enter their selections into Powerschool. This must be completed by Friday, February 18th at 3:00 p.m. Students' course requests will be sent home in early March to confirm the requests entered into Powerschool.
