AWARDS GIVEN BY BOOSTER CLUB
Spirit of Pioneer Award
This award is given to the athletes who continually support, encourage and participate in team activities while maintaining an enthusiastic and supportive attitude regardless of their own individual success.  It is for the athlete who leads through their character, their commitment to the team and their love of the sport.
The "Spirit of Pioneer" award brings to the attention not only of people outside the particular sport, but to the teams' coaches and players, the dedicated young athlete who can be depended on to attend practice, to work to their ability, to behave in an appropriate manner whether performing or practicing and is a strong support to the team effort.
This award is not based on the individual athletes' accomplishments but on the more subtle, though very significant values of athletic competition, which contributes to the development of our solid citizens of tomorrow.
