 Pioneer is on a hill. When you enter Pioneer from 7th Street, you are on the 2nd floor. All other entrances to Pioneer are on the 1st floor. You are facing the Planetarium. School groups traveling by bus should disembark and reboard from the bus loop on 7th Street. Visitors who travel by private car may unload in the bus loop, but then MUST move their car to a legal parking spot. Cars parked in the bus loop may be ticketed and/or towed. See the page labelled "Getting Here - Parking". During the school day (7:00 am until 3:30 pm), additional security is in effect. If you enter the building through any entrance other than the 7th Steet entrance, you must stop at the general office and obtain a visitor's pass before going to the planetarium. There are public restrooms just around the corner from the planetarium. During the school day, an adult MUST accompany any visiting students who need to use these restrooms. |
