The Argus Planetarium

Not really.*
Click on the menus to the left to find information about getting to the Argus Planetarium, including Maps, Parking, and finding us in the building.

*This is a photograph of the spiral galaxy called M83.  We believe our own Milky Way galaxy looks similar. Our solar system is located near the outer edge of the Milky Way, in a location similar to that shown with the arrow.  This photograph was taken by W. Keel at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa using the 4-m Mayall Telescope. http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap980525.html
